Fall 2010-11 at Designerkollektivet

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

Today we ended the summer sale at Designerkollektivet, Aker Brygge. We spent the morning and afternoon removing summer garments and re-decorate the shop.

I’m offering many unique pieces, which only exist in 1 or 2 versions.

And many styles from the new winter collection is 70% off, due to the soft and loose vowen wool fabric which makes the seams fragile.

Make sure to pop by!

Roe’s Fashionhood

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

I visited Roe’s Fashionhood the other day, at Posthallen. The shop looks really great, the interior reflects the Norwegian nature; wood, stone, moss and grass. It’s like entering the woods of the Trolls. Wonderful!

I found these in Stockholm, the colour selection was great, but I limited myself to a mole (“Mouse”)  and peach (“Rose Bowl”) colour:

Green again!

Friday, August 27th, 2010

The magenta hair colour had to go, I’m after all turning 43 next week! But it was impossible to get rid of even after 3 turns of bleach, so I ended up with a dirty green colour! It’s actually not pretty at all, but I haven’t got time or energy to spend on my hair anymore. So I’ll just have to let it grow back into my natural colour (which will take exactly 3,5 years from now!). I have learned my lesson alright!

Stockholm

Friday, August 27th, 2010

I’m back from a 2 days trip to Stockholm, basically for visiting a fabric fair but also to get an overview of what’s happening on the fashion scene. I travelled with my buddy Daniel (Sørensen; designer) and we both agreed that this trip was one within the cathegory of super-efficiency!

We spent the first day at the fair, but managed to squeeze in a vernissage and the after party for Diana Orving’s collection for Weekday. She showed at a gallery on Söder, where we – the audience – stepped outside and watched two dancers wearing garments and moving inside. A great idea and venue, however, a little difficult to see the black/grey/green garments inside a dark room while it was daylight.

We spent the next day ‘walking, busing and tubing’ around the city.

CRA-a-a-zy haircolour!!!

Sunday, August 22nd, 2010

Damn, this time the colour ended up far too bright, I was lookin for a grey-ish plum that let my natural grey shine through but this is practically day-glo!!! And the red pigment will probably stay put for the next 10 or 20 years, ha ha.
