We have just arrived in India and are having a look around the hotel were they are busy building up a huge tent for the fashion-week opening and shows starting up the following day.

We were invited to stay at the Crowne Plaza hotel, Gurgaon. A lovely hotel, with wonderful rooms, everything you can dream of “foodwise” and with a very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!

Luxorious bathrooms are any girls best friend!!!!

alright…Indian International Fashionweek, let´s do it!!!!!

Tina is explaining her preferences and thoughts about the total look that she wants for her models. The team are looking at her notes, pictures and sketches and are discussing how to best approach the task to reach the right expression. (Director Make Up -IIFW – Mahealani Diego- Hollywood Make Up Artist – Mahealani)

The wonderful Mr. Andres Aquino who was the  Choreographer and Producer of the show (Choreographer and Producer of Couture fashion week, New York) backstage, checking if everything is ok, and makes sure that everything goes as smooth as possible.

15 wonderful girls from an Indian Fashion school are working for us backstage the whole day, spending hours waiting for new tasks and when the crazy hours hits during Tina´s show, they are eagerly helping us to undress and dress every model into their next outfits.

..ehhh…..Tina said that she wanted bowties in the back here didn´t she?

“Pink tights for every model! Pink tights! …don´t forget…it´s very important…every model must wear pink tights!!!!!!”

….aaaand WRAP! Finally done with our show!!!!! Sending a big “thank you” again to all the models who did a wonderful job!

…and not to forget, again, thank you sooo much for all the help backstage. It makes everything so much easier when we have so many helpful hands with a good spirit and a lighthearted mood.

HA HA…can you believe that the spanish designer Ramon Gurillo and Mr. Brian Gold (former Vice Chairman, British Fashion Council) are actually inviting Tina for a drink in this picture, to celebrate the finale of the fashionweek?????

….and when the evening is over, Tina hastely heads back to her room for an appointment with Mr. work = Pc

…the next day, before the shows are starting up again we are eager to have a look at a superb fabricstore in Gurgaon called H.P Singh on a marked not to far away from the hotel. Tina wants to buy some fabric for her next collection, but when we get there, we can´t find the store at all. We have to call Tina´s friend Raghav (again and again) to get new directions.

…so this is the famous Mr. Raghav, the man who does not know the word NO, Tinas friend and partner in India.

…Raghav was, inbetween his crazy-buzy-schedule, so kind that he took a day of to show us some of New Dehlies wonderful areas. Thank you Raghav!
